With the factory towing package 6500 lbs. trailer weight, 350 lbs. tongue weight per the 2006 eBrochure (see page 16 and 17)

That towing thread that was posted has tons of info I've read it several times whenever I'mnot sure about something

Yeah, that 6500 lb. number is a crock--I would not even think about towing 6500 lb. with a 3800 lb. tow vehicle...

yeah agreed. the cart pushing the horse there. Always loved the insane tow ratings of some of these new vehicles.... ie F150 13200lbs.... for a ~4500-4800lb truck... jezus.

6inch lift sitting on bilstein coilovers. Lexus is300 studs in front to keep stock wheels, general grabber red letters, nfab front bumper.
If you are comparing truck weight to trailer weight then how do 18 wheelers do it? A lot of their payloads are double or triple the weight of the truck. My old ram3500 dually would tow 2 taken apart crop dusters on a 50 foot steel gooseneck with ease.

Apples and oranges--a "Fifth" wheel/"gooseneck" hitch differs (trailer/tongue weight over the rear axle) greatly from a "bumper" hitch with the tongue/trailer weight lever/cantilever mounted well rear of the axle...
