This sucks, my truck is brand new with 800 miles on it. It pulls to the left fairly hard when I'm in the left lane on a freeway that slopes to the left but when in the right lane that slopes to the right is is mostly neutral to a slight pull to the left. I expect it to pull to the way the road slopes and is more biased to the left, this is on a calm day with no wind influencing it. I checked my air pressure and took it back to the dealer for a free alignment. They said the toe was slightly out and adjusted but its still the same.

What should I do next? I'm thinking I will swap the two front tires to see but with other vehicles that never worked. I'm also tempted to give the tie rod a turn to toe the front left wheel in, if I do that do I just loosen the jam nut and give it a turn or will that mess up the steering rack? s

New Truck. New warranty. Visit your dealer for a checkup. You paid too much for your truck to allow the dealer to send you away without fixing the problem.

Try driving some other roads too. It sounds like your alignment is real close but not quite perect for the roads you drive on the most.

I wouldn't fool with the toe just yet, it's asking for odd tread wear patterns.

I have the same problem but it pulls to the right. Had it aligned 2 times and they say it's fine. It all seem to happen when some dummy from discount tire changed my tire on the rim backward but I've tried swapping out to the other side and the back as well. If you find anything let me know

The best any dealer can do is come up with a target spec for local roads within the factory specs that causes them the fewest complaints.

I'd you drive mostly on the flatter roads in the area, your vehicle will pull a little to the left
If you drive mostly on the more heavily crowned roads in your area, your vehicle will pull to the right...unless you live in England.

Is there a major road in your area you haven't driven yet? Go drive on it and include it in your local average, your dealer has to.

In general if your truck pulls to both left and right about equal amounts your alignment is likely close to ideal.

I've done all that and driven on most types of roads. Its pretty close but pulls to the left slightly more. Last night I towed in the front left wheel one turn and that did nothing but offset my steering wheel so I put it back to where it was.

Take it somewhere reputable and have all four tires balanced, I would bet they are out. That's usually the problem and solution I've experienced. Sometimes the balancing weights can come off the rim and throw it out of whack...

Before you mess with it and give the dealer an excuse not to fix it - take it to another dealer !!
