Helping a buddy change brake pads

should I pump the brakes after each corner is complete or in pairs?

    or does it not matter

getting old and not remembering if there is a “proper” way

The only reason to pump after each corner is to prevent overflow if there's too much fluid in the reservoir.

Just do the brakes as you see fit and pump after.

A quick bleed to get fresh fluid through the system isnt a bad idea though.

    Good luck!
