    my male pit humped a lot of stuff at about the 4 months age it lasted a little while. he would always hump his bed before he went to sleep, and he had a big puffy turtle he liked to hump, he got out of it after a month or so.

    LOL! My dog did it for the first 2 months we had him. The "leave it" command worked very well along with a tap on his nose if it was a very stubborn day.

    Sometimes you just need something to break the dogs focus (never heard of the penny can).

    So, just an update...

    I was playing with the pup the other day. I turn my back to him to grab a toy, and he hops up on my leg and starts going to town. Needless, to say, I popped his ass. Good.

    It was pretty upsetting for me. I had to take an hour long shower.

    I think he's done with his humping fetish.
