My roller is really just a solid piece of aluminum that is tapped on each side so it bolts to the bravo rack, and then there is an outer tube over it that rolls. Mechanically very simple. The inner piece is 3/4” diameter and the out is 3/4” ID and 1” OD. So snug, but still rolls. Mainly just to keep stuff from rubbing off the powder coating on the rack from being slid across it.

Send me the specs and I'll build it. Assuming I can acquire the connectors. I can T into the OEM stuff already and I know the pinouts there, just don't have any interest in owning anything under the Kicker label :)

Thats my issue too. My kayaks hull dragging across the tailgate panel has worn a nice deep groove in the plastic. I built a giant drawer that bolts to the bed, then slides out 3 feet to load and unload my kayak with, but I hit a road block and put it on hold for the winter.

It was in my post on the first page.

I think that link had the list on the first page of that thread.

    That would be great :D

Ah, I see now, you built a nice guide.

We need to locate the pins and connectors for the kicker 12 and 8 pin. They look like molex from what little I know. Johnny, any help locating them? I just got some digikey molex so I can probably hunt down 8 and 12 pin females.

@Tacospike given a nice short 4" T, how long did you want the fed to the kicker? Your harness looks way long to me but it all depends on placement of this thing.

    I'd need a number, 5' perhaps? 6'? 2 meters?

This all seems super doable. 16 TXL and some wire loom, all of which I have and could use some practice with. One hour tops, you did a nice guide. Kind of nice to not have soldered connections.

So, I'd build one for you to test out and if it's good to go then you wanted to bulk produce these for others? Or just a one-off for you?

I've read that the connectors are different but haven't seem them. A close up of the positions and shape might help. If it's 090II 15 pin or something I may have a pair already.

I do have a line out converter from the kit I bought off eBay.

Something like this just with the correct connector?

Maybe find a friend with a 2021 and get some good photos of the connector and maybe even a part number? Unless Caribe can pull that for us.

An adjustment knob on it wouldn't be really useful. You're better off adjusting your gain. Any adjustment on the line level would just be equivalent to turning down the volume, as it isn't going to go past 100%, only down. Make sense?

You do that via amp gain rather than signal attenuation. You want a strong signal through the wire.

Think of it like water supply to your house. You don’t want to decrease pressure until it enters the home. Then pressure reducer for your internal plumbing.
