image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I purchased a red 2004, Double-Cab, TRD, 3.4, SR5, 4X4, with 67,000 miles. Traded in a 2009 Tacoma 4 cyl, extended cab, 2x4, I purchased new that only had 28,000 miles and It looked brand new like this 2004. Probably paid too much, but made trade with 2009 and $5000.

I have put 800 miles on the 2004 and I really like it. Talked with original owner and he had a Toyota dealer undercoat the frame, etc., in 2010. Kept the truck in a garage, no smokers in truck and maybe 10 people have rode in the back seat. Thr paint and engine are in immaculate condition. He replaced exhaust system, front brakes, and tires. Toyota installed a fiberglass bed cover when he bought it new. I am using my iPad, so hope I can upload some pics tonight. If I cannot, will upload some later. Glad I found you guys.

I drive past this car lot that has top notch vehicles when going to the gym. Saw truck on a Friday and bought it the next day. There were several people after it, I was the first one to show him the money. They were asking $19,999.99

Thanks Christthebassman, OverdaHill, and RustyVT. Appreciate your input. I installed new side step nerf bars yesterday. Planning on upgrading the sound system. Not sure if I will replace the speakers or not. Years ago I installed my own sound systems, but technology has changed since the 8 track and cassette players. ;)

I agree about the price being high. I was going to buy a new 2015/2016 Tacoma, but decided to go this route. Like me, the original owner was in his 60's and he changed the oil every 3,000, already changed spark plugs before they really needed to be, etc. I drove my 2009 Tacoma for over 6 years and it was just too boring. :sadviolin:
