I'll remember that thanks I loved these tires on my 00 Tacoma and had to try them out in my current one. I like the design an can't believe these are being phased out

Ran the KO's on my 2002 reg. cab about 10 years back. Lasted along time, didn't do good on slippery surfaces though. Other than that, no complaints for me. BFG has been in game for years, but alot of tire companies have surpased their technology.

KO2 is replacing the KO over the coming year. Kind of old news. Is that what you are asking?

All reports so far are the KO2 are significantly improved over the KO in many areas. Ice/snow handling and better wear on gravel roads are the biggest differences. Increased sidewall strength as well.

Personally I'm holding off on purchasing my tires until the KO2 are out in the size I want. Scheduled for 4/15 for the size I'm looking for. A lot of the most popular sizes are already available in KO2 with production stopping for the KO.

Stock size KOs right now (265/70R-16). Planning to go to 265/75R-16 KO2 once these are done. Like the KOs, expect to like the KO2s just as much.

I have the KO's on mine (275-65-16). I dig the aggressive look and they were great during our recent snow storm. Prior to, I had the Dueller AT Revo 2's. Also a great tire.

    Congratulations.

I ran both the KO's and the Rugged Terrain.

I know the RT's do not get a lot of love around here but I actually prefer them over the KO's for wet weather traction in rain and snow.

Just my personal opinion, I know you will like the KO's.

Purchased some 2 weeks ago in 265/70/17 C load and couldn't be happier! Still think the original KOs look better than the KO2s IMO.

I've been running my 265/75R16 ko's pretty hard since August last year, they're barely showing any wear, they see about 4-500 km on the pavement a week and another couple hundred off road on the weekends. Great tire I've had mine in rain, hot, snow and ice, mud, slick rock never had an issue with traction. That being said my next tire will be the MTR

Just installed mine last week. Love the look. My KOs on our 4 Runner lasted 65,000 mi so hoping for the same from these
    275/70/17

I can tell the truck has to work harder to get going with these though. We'll see how my mileage changes.

    65k easy on these!

My mileage went down about 2mpg with these, but small price to pay riding on some real rubber on and off road. Piece of mind.

I ran the KO's in a 285/75/16 on my truck for about four or five weeks. I loved them on and offroad, only complaint is I wanted more sidewall traction for some of the trails around here. Then I upgraded to the KO2's in the same size just cause I could. I can say the new model is an improvement in every way. The ride is excellent and traction in the rain has been impressive. They seem to clean out better offroad and the new sidewall design has been helpful on the trails. No they aren't as quiet as the Bridgestone Revo2's, but they are quieter than the Duratracs and the BFG KM2's. I've run all these tires on the same truck this year and can say I don't plan on changing to a different tire. Only reason I've run so many is because I keep modding the truck, plus I work in the tire industry.
