Purchasing tires online

Hi,

i just bought an 06 SR5 and it still has the original tires. I could probaley get another 10000km out of them MAX (77km on the truck). I am looking to get a new set before the winter. After some searching online, and around the forum, the BFG Rugged Terrain seems to be the right tire for me. I do alot of hwy driving for work, and wont be doing any off roading (truck was to damn expensive for that haha).

I was looking at Tirerack and discounttiredirect. I am in Canada, but close enough to the boarder that i will be able to ship to a store in international Falls, MN and pay 5-20 bucks for them to recieve the shipment, 5 per package, so if depends how they are shipped. Then i will go pick them up.

I am looking at getting the 265/70/16.

Tirerack is $620/set plus 120 shipping = $740
Discount Direct is $708/set

With taxes at the boarder (13%), reciever fee, gas etc, i figure it will be around $880 total.

Will i be able to get much better than that? seems like a pretty good chunk of change for a mainly highway tire. Is there any other online based stores to check out? local reatilers sell the same set for 1050-1100 (not installed)!

Do the 2 sites listed above offer alot of sales? is it worth waiting to see if there are any promos?
