That would be nice but I don't want to put a ton of money into it. Just enough to do what I want without a fire. I don't want to start buying wireless key fobs and stuff like that.

I like this Idea! I am considering doing it now, a button would be kind of dum but a airplane switch would be nice!

I guess another question is do you really need to buy a kit or can you just pick up a switch and splice the wires yourself?

I've considered doing this too. This with a Remote Start would be bad ass.

I don't really need a remote start...yeah it would be cool also, but that's something that I probably wouldn't use very much. But if you want it then I say go for it!

Well, I've come to the thought that this is something that I shouldn't spend my money on right now. For example, I'll need tires soon and I need a bed liner. I'll come back to this at a later date and do it well with a key fob and such.

just fyi, the way i have my remote start wired up. I push the button on my key fob, my truck starts, then i get in and turn the key to on, not cranking, and drive away. If the key isnt turned to on and i push the clutch down, the truck shuts off. It's really close to what you were asking for, and its actually practical and adds value (possibly) to your truck.
