    Think of it as a starting point on a road map.

    It feeds power to the STA fuse. And eventually, if things "check good", It goes to the starter solenoid.

    I can't (don't want to) advise on how to bypass or wire in a push button switch.
    Too much lability and not enough information.

    A $ 24.00 switch that should be plug and pay I still think it never worked.

    Things work fine in the stock set up

    Things did work fine in the stock setup, this is correct. And they still do. I’m not adding the push button stat just because so think it’s cool. This particular push button setup requires the the presence of an RFID fob that’s included with the kit. When installed it works just like the push buttons setup does that came stock in my dad’s brand new Tacoma.

    Best I can do with what I have to work with;

    Push Start --------Ignition Connection
    Brown - Pin 6 (Black/Red)
    Yellow - Pin 1 (Black)
    Blue - Pin 4 (Black/Yellow) - Need more info. Not sure what "all power" means?
    Black - To Ground
    Red - Pin 2 (White)
    White - Need more info. What is IGN1? -Is is possibly IG1? If so, we use that wire already at pin 4.

    Yes IGN1 would be the same as IG1. I believe they also refer to it as “Ignition1” somewhere in the instructions. Thank you for your input. The way you listed things out is extremely helpful. I’m gonna take a look at everything as soon as I get home in a few minutes and see if I can’t make it all work finally.

    We need to figure out for sure what the blue and red wire go to.
    Pin 6 is also an ignition wire. It goes to the ignition coils. You need power to those for sure.

    Thank you, you’ve already been a big help, I appreciate your time. Here is the diagram that comes with the kit. Hoping this will help you help me. What do you think?Im I was hoping to be able to just list the push button wires then lost the truck wires and show what goes where, I think you understand what I’m getting at? Thanks again for everyone’s help.

    Oh haha! “All power” is actually “ACC power”. So it should go to #3 correct?

    The translation barrier is real here.
    That brown wire description is confusing.

    Do they mean no power with the engine running?
    Or no power while the engine is cranking?

    Yeah part of my problem has been the translation barrier. Thank You, lol. They mean when it’s cranking like when I’m turning the key. And I assumed that based on the rest of the instructions Ive read. I’m trying to find those now

    So here’s where sim at thanks to your help and my diving back into the simple nightmare…

    PUSH BUTTON……….TRUCK
    Brown wire ———->#6(blk/red)
    Yellow wire————> #1 (black)
    Blue wire—————> #3 (blu/red)
    Black wire————> GROUND
    Red wire————-> #2 (white)
    White wire————-> #4 (blk/yel)

    All this leaves out is #7, AM2. Does that sound right?
    I’m gonna go try this configuration and see what happens

    I understand but it does not work.

    How much to buy the parts from Toyota and install there switch compared to what you paid.

    You started the end of October your 20 days into the mission it still is not working.

    Granted in that time you may have only been hands on less then 10 hours.

    I wish you the best of luck

    Also found these. Checkout the translation barrier here too, this particular kit isn’t just a simple plug and play strictly because of how poor the English is in the instructions I swear! Frustrating because so know it SHOULD be a simple plug n play.

    Maybe these will help you understand what I’m trying to accomplish and maybe they make more sense to you?
