    2023 SR auto, key start. Pulled the ‘stop’ fuse, started just fine.

    Pulled the ‘stop’ fuse, did not press the brake, it started.

    Did not try pressing the brake with the fuse out, and then starting.

    Will test it tomorrow.

    Just meant that as noted in post 20 this wouldn’t apply to a keyed ignition because the brake isn’t required to start the vehicle

    I have an 18 TRD OR with key fob and had a brake light go out, truck started with the light out. Sounds like interweb BS to me.
