    Hey everyone,

I'm having trouble locatining a part for my truck so I thought I'd reach out. I screwed up my push button transfer case shifter knob while replacing my o2 sensor. Stupid armature mistake not unplugging the little wire connector first. I guess I thought I'd reach it after I removed the shifter housing. I tried soldering the wires back on to the push button relay but that didn't work either.

Any suggestions on where to find this part? I've called multiple wreaking yards, looked on eBay. The dealership doesn't want to sell me just the shifter knob but the entire tranfercase assembly.

After you soldered the wires, did you check your fuses? Might of been a short and popped a fuse.
    Just a thought.

    thanks Alex,

I did check the fuses and they are all good. The push button relay was pretty hard to solder ( there's this plastic housing around each connection which I melted a little ) so I think I just screwed up the whole thing and need to replace it.

Go to or call these guys, they have tons of hard to find parts and their prices are reasonable. They shipped me a clockspring ($230 at the dealer) for $60 to the door.

Thanks Zane, I tried them all ready as well. They were very helpful and gave me a Hollander number for reference at other yards.

Bummer they didn't have one, I would have thought between the 4Runners and Tacomas one would have a push button case.

Sorry for the confusion mlcc, I screwed up my push button knob trying to fix it after I yanked the wires out accidentally. Having trouble finding a replacement and thought I'd reach out.

Anyone ever find a part number for this? Mine needs to be replaced and I can’t find the part number for the life of me.
