Your truck? Can you get a better picture from the front so get a better look of how much tires sticking out?

I appreciate that Idaho, starting to feel a little warm and fuzzy inside…
Think I need to change my wheel offset selection Monday morning..
Happy with the tires? That’s number one on my list right now even though seems like Wescott is installing toyos on everything, I think that’s for a good reason…
My chick had Toyos on her lifted ranger back in the 2000s, never once did she rotate, and they wore completely even their entire lifespan till they were bald…

Im going to get flamed for this, but.....
I get the downside to wheel spacers...
But if I opt for the +35mm offset...
Would it be the end of the world to add a "hubcentric" 1/2"-1" wheel spacer???
Just concerened if I get the+25mm, if its going to get old having to wash the truck more frequently due to tire sling...
cant go backwards if I get the wider wheels...
    Yes, im panicking...

I ran 1" spacers on sports cars for years and I drove them very hard. I think you'd be safe with a spacer as long as it's a good quality one and you don't go cheap on it.

How about a 2024 1958 Land Cruiser and a 2024 Rwd XC Tacoma? Yes that would be pricey, but for the price of a luxury HD diesel you could buy the two Toyotas. Downside would be you have two vehicles with almost the same drivetrain leaving you vulnerable if there is an engine or transmission issue involving a TSB or recall. I still want a rear locker or 4x4 on the Tacoma for doing pick up things, like getting unstuck at the dump.

Spoke to WestScott this morning, they gave me the little extra special attention. I needed to be reassured and ease my anxiety, +25 in route…
Maybe even a spacer after that if I’m bored and need to feel extra, from what they’re telling me, the poke is still minimal on a +25 method.
He reassured me that it won’t be sticking out 2 inches or anything like that..

    Double Black Method 305's w/ +25mm offset & 285 70 17 Falken WildPeaks in-route....
Truck gets the the front portion of the Westcott lift installed in the morning that I had since May...
Wheels & tires get installed Wednesday...

Think the 305's with the black bead-ring & titanium / grey wheel face would look bad-ass but were not doing that....

I was hoping for a little more exaggeration where the front is higher than the rear, that didn’t happen…
The sport is 1/2” lower in the front than an sr5.
I mentioned in the past I was going to just say install the front portion of the Westcott 2.5” collar lift & the haters starting swinging at me…
    Dragging ass, etc….
Here you go, just the front….
This truck needs 2.5 inches to truly be “level”…
    But what do I know…
    Just figured I’d share for those interested…IMG_7788.jpg IMG_7787.jpg IMG_7786.jpg IMG_7785.jpg IMG_7784.jpg

    Identity, crisis, resolved…
Discount accidentally ordered chrome Lugnuts, instead of the black that I specified, they’ve got the right ones in route…
My tire guys at work seems to think the black Lugnuts look like shit overtime and I should should stick with the chrome…
Hope it fits in my one car garage, that’s something I haven’t verified…
Or the chicks scuba equipment that she hasn’t used in 10 years is going out back…
    Beyond stoked!
It’s official, sticking with the chrome Lugnuts…

It all came together nicely. The Methods, the tires and the modded stance looks both modern and timeless. Glad you didn't overthink any of it LOL.

    Cheers

    def over-thunk it....
Was trying to save a few pennies...
Stock wheels powder coated look great, a cheap option, just had no reason for a E rated / 10ply tire & sacrafice ride quality due to the fact of 18" wheel....
Most folks in san diego / california run their trucks where the front is slightly higher than the rear, its like a "pre-runner" look...
That back wheelwell is so huge, no reason to lift it more in most scenarios. Unless youre really going to load-up the back longterm / permanently with overlanding gear, bed racks systems, etc...
Were not talking a "Carolina squat"
I cant stand the ass end raked look, drives me nuts...
I know theres reasons behind it, towing, loads, etc...
    Happy with the outcome.

The body lines on these 4th gens remind of the 2005 era Chevy Colorado's.

I LOVE that we have square / boxy lines again, I hate the roundy round look...
When I saw the body in-person, a 23 wasnt an option, a ranger wasnt an option...

4:23 PM, all four doors done, my back is fucking toast…
Thought it would’ve went faster, felt like it went faster…

I didn’t struggle at all, Bob gave us all the cheat codes…
One thing I did do is wrap one loop of electrical tape around every pushpin where it slides into the door panel, so there’s no movement and the pushpin fits inside the door panel firmly, hopefully that will help eliminate some rattles……………………..
