Doesn't anybody know of any decently priced push start ignition kits? I saw one on Amazon, but had ok reviews, and I'd like to see if there are any made for these trucks

Umm...Why?... but I'm just old. Seems like a solution looking for a problem.
What don't you like about a keyed ignition?

They are also not terribly secure.

Nothing is wrong with it. I dont mind it at all, it's just my end goal for this truck is to be a bit on the luxury side, for shits and giggles

But you’re not ruling out the Lexus badges. I agree except in luxury cars

Here's the way I see it. If you wanna dink around with the lighting, suspension, wheels, stereo, alarm system, etc., fine, but to put some cheap Chinese electronic black box in charge of the only means to start your truck, is just asking for trouble. Sometime when you really need it to start, it's going to fail, and the only way to get it running is going to be to rip all that stuff out and put the OEM ignition switch back in it.

416 hp and it requires the use of a Lexus badge.

Are you looking to keep the key in your pocket and hit a start switch or using the ignition key and a separate start switch?

I plan on splicing the ignition wires in a way so that I can still have the OEM ignition, but have the main action be the push start

I’m almost positive, you still have to stick the key in the ignition in order for it to start. :)

I'll word it a different way, do you want to start the truck by turning the key on and then hit a start button?

OR do you want the ignition key in your pocket with a chip in it and start the truck with a button?

In order to go true push button ignition you need to install an electronic disengaging steering wheel lock. It's too much trouble for what it is worth and based on how easy they are stealing these push button cars with the new-ish wave of relay attacks, you should really re-consider your current course. Your physical key will never be vulnerable to relay attacks like these new 3rd gens are.

Isn’t really that much work/effort to turn your key? Just enjoy the simplicity of it. :)

That truck definitely looks like it would have a push-start kit from Amazon.
