I love my regular key Sport Access Cab 6MT. Best bet would be to trade yours in for a Tacoma that has the regular key (SR5 or a manual Sport/Off-Road/PRO).

OP dipped, but trading for a manual key would be a bajillion times easier and more cost effective than bricking a current one.

Unfortunately no. Otherwise RVs would be all over it. The AC on my little popup trailer eats 3500watts for start-up, then closer to 2000-2500 to run. I can't even plug it into my 120V house outlets for obvious reasons; it'll pop any breaker that's wired for less than 30A. Compressor driven ACs are major energy hogs. Even peltier style coolers will consume more energy than can be done on a passenger truck chassis.

Here is a unit that takes 520W to run:
    https://www.geappliances.com/applia...ioner-for-Small-Rooms-up-to-250-sq-ft-PHC06LY
    6150BTU

Seems like you'd have to carry a pretty big battery and inverter to run something like this though. Yeah, you'd need to be wary of inrush current on startup.
You'd think someone would make something smaller than that, right? Something on the order of 4000BTU.

How many BTU is a vehicle AC unit? 10-12K BTU?
Why can't someone adapt an automobile AC compressor / condenser and evap coil?
Seems like a large inefficiency is in the conversion of 12VDC into AC.

My truck (sr5) has a key.my wife’s vehicle is push to start. I kinda prefer the key I just wish it was like the Kia key. Folding like a switchblade.

PTS is not good. If a vehicle is inoperable with out power for an extended piror of time. The key fobs need to be reactivated.

Nothing beter than a keyed ignition.

    Brand new.
my wife’s Toyota Camry key was like that but now she’s got a push start as well, which is more convenient for her. That way she’s not fiddling around with the keys in her car just keeps them in her purse like I just shit my key inside my jacket pocket.

OP has 1 post, yet this thread has 4 pages. Who’s the secret instigator?

OK, what I really want? I want a FOB key enclosure that allows me to combine the transmitters for two dissimilar cars.
Since one of my vehicles is a Subaru, I think this can be done through programming and matching the Toyota FOB to the Subaru car, but I'm not positive.
It's a PITA to carry multiple FOBs. My wife drives the Subaru, but I like to have the key on me incase she needs me to help her because she misplaced hers, or wants me to drive. :mudding:

They could sell "halves", so one side was Toyota, and the other side Subaru, or insert make / model.
Ohhh, an opportunity for those with 3D printers perhaps?

Ideally, the solution would be merely programming FOB to vehicles...
Funny, I've placed my truck's overhead cabin light switch to the Door position, and my wife is freaking because the cabin light in the truck comes on when she approaches it. :burnrubber:

Would be easier if you just had an app, like Tesla does it, to unlock/control your car. No key fob necessary.

Not sure the idea of combining fobs is a great idea. You run the risk of bricking your keys and making the vehicle un-startable.

Go to bottom of page 1. It is the engine shut off feature. Not shut off in Accessory. Shut off when idle for extended period of time. At least that's how I read it.

It’s moot point because op was a one post troll and this thread is dead, but I disagree. Ops 30 minute complaint matches the linked thread, but not the hour stated in the manual page posted.
But like I said this whole discussion is futile. Especially since op was asking to do the impossible and we all turned it into an argument about the reason why he wanted to do the impossible.

    3" lift.

Yes, the vehicle can be put to acc mode by pressing without using the brake. The brake must be pressed to start it.
