    Hey,
What will be ramifications? I'm in FL with HUGE fuel shortages due to hurricane. Only fuel they had was 87. I already had about a half tank of 91/93. I put like 10 gallons in to fill up.
Should I add something to make it better? What will happen?
I have only had either 91/93 since I purchased in 2015.

    Thanks

Mixed tank at sea level- you are fine. You can get octane booster at any parts store too if you got refuel with 87 again.

If you don't run it too hard and stay out of boost it'll be ok.

What everyone else said. And considering how the traffic is getting out of FL, I don't think you'll have much opportunity to put in boost anyway

I always keep a couple bottles of octane boost in the truck for times you can't find premium.

I think you have it backwards - lower octanes can be run at higher elevations. Thinner air => less compression => lower octane required to prevent detonation. Premium here at 7,000 feet is often only 90 octane.

Stay out of boost the best you can and you'll be fine. If you can buy one of those octane boosters from the gas station or any store really, it will make up for it. I keep a couple bottles on me in my truck for this reason.

Nah dude, says right on the bottle you get 106 octane. Turns your everyday car into a top fuel dragster.

I use the Gumout brand or Lucas oil, they claim 1 bottle is about equivalent to one increased level of octane. Not sure about other brands. The marketing crap some of these companies put on these bottles is ridiculous so it's hard to know for sure sometimes.

    https://gumout.com/faqs/how-much-do...increase-the-octane-rating-of-fuel/?locale=en

I only rely on it if I'm somewhere remote and they don't offer 91 octane fuel, or if it's some no-name sketchy looking gas station.

Yea they are all crap, unless you can find Torco. But why spend the money? Just stay out of boost and go light on the throttle, your supercharged engine will be fine on 87

TatorHarry and Just Dandee - ya'll need to get out of the mountains a little more often. For the rest of the country, 87 Octane is Regular, 89-90 is Mid grade, and higher is Premium. Every trip I've made to the Rockies, 85 is Regular.
I don't have any problem running it at elevation, but I do try to fill up with at least 89 for the first tank when leaving or just after leaving the mountains, so I roughly have at least 87 at lower elevations for this "mixed tank" (on a non-supercharged engine).
