Putting a 99 front bumper on my 01?

Hey guys, I've got my 01 tacoma checked out and everything Is good to go with the truck. I'm wanting to keep the 01 style grill and headlights but I'm wanting to put a 1999 front bumper on it. Can anyone tell me about how hard it will be and if I need to swap anything to make the bumper fit? I'm hoping for a direct fit but never know

 

Why out of curiosity?

I don’t know if it’ll work, 98-00 has the extended frame horns that 95-97 and 01-04 don’t have.

 

I'm not a huge fan of the 01 bumper. I dont like how its 3 pieces. That and I've always liked that style, I seen one guy do it and the look of it is pretty awesome

 

I totally agree. The 99 bumper is way better looking than the 01-04
