Today at 5 pm Bruce will be put to sleep. I am very sad and will be crying like a bitch. I have had him for 6 wonderful years, he was adopted from a Boxer rescue he is 12 now. I wish that I found him 6 years earlier. I will miss this gentle dog.
Love you Bruce. I will see you again!

Sorry for your loss, its hard to put down a pet. My girlfriend and I put down her yellow lab at 8 years this summer because her kidneys were failing. It was tough, i'd grown to love that dog.

Sorry to hear. I would be crying too. We just had to give one we have had for 2 days to the pound and we all know what that means. I could only imagine that added to years of knowing, loving, and caring for the dog. Stay strong

I too am going through the same thing. My mom has had a Jack Russell Terrier for over 16 years and it hasn't been eating lately. Its a tough thing to do, but you don't want them to be in pain. I wish us all strength in tough times.
