I'm trying to decide whether I want to go 285's or 255's. I really like the Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's , Cooper STT Pro's and of course BFG KO2's haha

Not bad choices the MT/Rs are a good tire they hate getting wet while wheeling and seem to lose a lot of grip on the rocks compared to KM2s, or Coopers. Granted this was north east wheeling with rocks and mud on the same trail but you could watch the guys on MT/Rs slip and spin more VS guys on other tires. The new Nitto's are also worth looking at they have really stepped up their game the past few years with their involvement in KOH/Ultra 4 and its now trickled down to their consumer tires.

Thanks for the info man, I haven't looked at much on the tires yet other than looks haha. I have tried to stay away from Nitto because of my friends having bad experiences with them being too soft and not lasting long. Plus with the terra Grapplers start to get some miles on them they get pretty loud.

Unfortunately it'll be a little while before I can get tires so I have time to think haha

Got my CBI ditch light brackets in a couple days ago and decided to install my ditch lights. As always, it was aggravating routing the wires and such but it's finally done. These ditch lights are temporary for now...The wife ordered these off ebay for christmas but I wanted the other style so they are in the mail and will be changed out once they arrive:)

    http://www.cbioffroadfab.com/products/3rd-gen-toyota-tacoma/3rd-gen-tacoma-ditch-light-brackets/

I ran a constant hot with an inline 5A fuse from the battery through the rubber grommet that the main harness runs through in the firewall. The constant hot runs to the switch and then the load wire comes off of the switch and goes back through the same rubber grommet and to the driver side ditch light. I ran another wire from that driver side light across the top of the firewall to the other ditch light and then zip tied it to the wiring harness. For my grounds on each light, I ran a short ground to the 1st bolt at the back of the fender. My final wire was the switch ground which I ran to the harness ground that is behind the driver side kick plate.

I wished they made black butt connectors and spade terminals but I could not find any so red and blue it is.

I installed a temporary rocker switch for now in the blank slot to the left of the steering wheel but I am waiting on my Mictuning switch to come in to give it that factory look.

Thanks @CBI Offroad Fab for the excellent ditch light brackets!

This is the lights that I have coming in the mail.
