After just 7 months with my 2015 Mustang GT 5.0, it was time to say goodbye and get another 3rd Gen Tacoma!! Found this gem at Everett Chevrolet in Hickory NC (over 2 hours away from me).

Saw it online at 9am on 12/6/18...Drove out and picked her up that evening. Traded my 2015 Mustang 5.0 and my 98 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 for it. It's nice to be back:)

It’s already a sweet truck, and looks like it will be even sweeter when you are done. Congratulations.

Sweet Ride, jealous that your ride came with so many amenities. Did they give you a good deal or was it one of those "its got a lot of stuff we didn't pay for when the owner had traded it, but...we're gonna go ahead and charge you an arm and a leg for it". Interested to see how your build goes. Will be starting mine as soon as I get back home so I'm about to be in the same boat.

Thanks man I appreciate it! I actually landed this tuck for a good deal. 32k miles. I thought it was a good deal considering I was about to buy another stock 17 TRD OR but it was more expensive. It’s a really good start to my build!

Holy shit....damn I'm jealous now. Its nice because you don't have to worry about the basic stuff and can jump straight into armor or random accessories. I'm really surprised they hadn't looked at everything but then again there was a jeep that had popped up at a jeep dealership and it was dirt cheap. This jeep had 40s with a whole new axle, front and rear lockers, armor all around, King suspension I believe or something as good or better, and a whole ton of interior mods for I wanna say 36k. Then again who wants a Jeep with a bunch of mods for dirt cheap saving tons of money right?

Haha yeah man I was surprised too but it was a Chevy dealer selling a Toyota so maybe they really just didn’t know lol.

Damn man. Aint that some shit. The best deals always involve a vehicle being sold by a different company. I wonder if one day, one of them is going to end up looking a lot of the products up and have an epiphany about how much was invested in that truck. That would be a golden reaction. Then again I feel some of them know but don't care since they're trying to move vehicles fast.

Truck already came in handy! Pulled 3 cars out of the ditch, cut 4 trees out of the road way, drove a lady home after she slid into a tree. #toyota

Finally rotated the tires and decided to do a little cleaning action while the wheels were off.

Working on installing my permanent switches for Ditch lights, Fire lights (front), Fire lights (rear). Got the switch plate installed but the Mictuning switches that I ordered ended up being too big? So having to return and re order the correct switches.
