I picked up my 2012 DC 4x4 Sport LB in Pyrite Mica today and love it. I traded down my 2011 Silver DC Sport to one of my employees and now get to enjoy the nice touches on the new addition. This being the third Tacoma purchased from this dealership I have learned to have them add a few of the options on before I pick it up for the first time. I put 70k on the 2011 and will probably put 175k on this one before it gets traded...I like this color...

    3" lift
    Tinted windows
    HID Headlights & Fogs
    Leather seats
Method Racing Double Standard Machined Street 17x8.5
    Duratrac 285/70/17
Avid front bumper & step bars ordered

    The old

Love my 2011 Pyrite. How the hell did you manage to put 70K miles on the 2011 truck in 1 year?

I bought the truck in November 2010 and average 50k per year. Handed it down last week to my shop mechanic. Our farm site is 30 miles from anything (gas station, post office etc.) and 45 miles from the house. Part of the joys of living in the country.

Nice truck! Same color as my 2012 4WD Dbl V6 Short Bed. Alas I couldn't get the long bed in my garage and in Oklahoma you don't want to leave your new truck out in the weather believe me!

I hear you on keeping your truck safe in Oklahoma, you would probably need an underground garage just to keep all four tires on the ground with your storms. I have only put a 1,000 miles on the truck but I swear the long bed makes a difference in the ride compared to my short bed on the 2011.. Thanks for the compliment..

    Hi, Sunburst
I just got the same truck and want to also put a 3'' lift on it. How is the ride after the lift compaired to the oem and do you have the tow package.

I agree, I like the more angular look better on the 2012 model but it's a personal taste. My only bitch is that it's love bug season in my area and the holes are doing their best to catch as many as possible.

I do have the tow package, seems to be standard in my area. The ride is probably 50% improved from my 2011 short cab with the 3" lift. I don't know if it's the new model, longer bed or lift manufacturer but I am quite pleased with the ride of this truck and have had several passengers tell me its much better.

    That color is garbage.
