I would say to come up in late June or early to mid July! Everything is green and the weather is pretty nice for alaska standards around those times!

did you use the eBay seat heaters? Ive been looking at them for some time since they are only 89$ but was wondering how they work and if you installed them yourself?
Awesome build btw you and dan0mites are making me like the pyrite color more than I used to haha

Hey sorry it took me so long to get back to you... this never told me you had posted. But no, they are seat heaters off Amazon. I believe these were them. It has the stock roller on/off switch. And yea we installed them ourselves. It was kind of a pain with putting the hog rings back in and all that, just be ready for sore hands/fingers haha.

And I actually don't have a shock relocation kit.. let me know if you have any other questions. Hopefully this will notify me next time! And thanks, I love the pyrite. It was definitely different at first though haha.

I like them, they handle really well offroad! About to swap out the 650lb coils for 700lb. I'm about to add more weight with a winch and S/C.

How did you like the 887 and 5100s? I’m thinking of swapping my 885s for them.

I loved em, they rode really good! They are smoother with every day driving than my icons are to be honest. I just had them back on my truck a few weeks ago while my icons were being rebuilt, forgot how nice they rode.

I'm about to put on an aluminum bumper + winch, the weight should be around 110 pounds altogether. I was hoping I could keep my 887's, but it looks like maybe I'll have to move to the 886? Do you think you could have ran your 887's long term with the weight you currently have?

Haven't posted in a while.. but some of the recent upgrades we have done are new 700lb coils up front, Warn VR 10-S Winch, 1/4" body lift to get my sliders away from my frame, new RCI full set of aluminum skids and a high clearance rear dual swing out bumper from Coastal Offroad (The weld-it-your-self kit)- almost done with it. Also getting in our new RTT- Smittybilt Overlander XL. truck.jpg skids.jpg rear swing out.jpg

I was wondering how the progress on the Coastal offroad bumper was going and just saw you posted this yesterday, looks great!! I knew I should have gone with the swingout as well, can't wait to see the finished painted bumper

Thanks! We've pretty much been at a standstill for almost 3 weeks waiting on Coastal to send us the hardware we were missing (34 pieces!) and they sent us the wrong size side hoops for the bed protection.. So we couldn't finish it yet.... Finally received notification that they should be in on monday... Been pretty frustrating to say the least... Can't wait to get it done and my truck put back together!

As far as the swingouts, can you not order those separate and add on after the fact?

Thanks again for all the help with the tips and tricks! They helped a ton and made the process alot smoother!

Hey, sorry I never saw this post! I'm sure you have already made the decision, but we sagged quite a bit with the 887s under the weight we added (120lbs), but the ride was very smooth compared to my icons.. I've done alot of changes since then and are running icons with 700lbs springs.
