    I know a lot of guys overseas that have cars in storage here in the states, and they wish they can get someone to start the car up every now and then cause it's not long term storage prepped. Being able to start / warm up a car from another country, then shut it back off = awesome.

    Being an IT geek I'd say this key fob software communicates using your cell service providers network / data service. Obviously you already have a phone compatible for that area, so it just communicates through smtp protocol to Pythons Servers, who in turn send the communication to your vehicle. So the fob app is fine. However, the transponder in the vehicle would have to be duel, tri, or quad band GSM compatible - depending on Italy's national standard - OR if it just uses GPS, then that shit works everywhere. I'd google what Italy uses, and get some detailed specs about the communication standard the transponder supports. If it's GPS, you're golden.

    i have this same system on the wifes car and i was able to start it from russia while i was there ...... so im pretty sure itll work from italy

    just have the unit transfered to your new number, its kinda more like a text message than it is anything, just send certain commands

    last i checked mine was like 12 dollars lol, you can set it up as a payasugo here in canada, and i just threw a 200 card on it last time, and havent looked in over a year, it still works

    I googled it and it looks like its an annual fee of about $30 here in the US.
