Doesn't work in my 2016 with my iPhone 13 Pro. I just use a charging cable in a lighter adapter in the center console port.

No problems with mine, it works fine, but slow. Only had it a year though, so time will tell.

All the way back (as in toward the rear of the vehicle) and to the right works best for me.

I wonder if something like the following could be adapted to the space of the existing Qi charger:
    https://www.amazon.com/Multiple-Wireless-Charging-wirleess-NOTE10S9S8/dp/B088NMY299?crid=3OZXP28PCOCOT&keywords=qi+pad+15w+car&qid=1695306565&s=automotive&sprefix=qi+pad+15w+car%2Cautomotive%2C79&sr=1-12-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9tdGY

    Another possibility:
    https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Cha...3ee-4c3b-a827-bccac2c46f21&pd_rd_i=B09KH62F4J

Interestingly, I don't think all phones can charge wirelessly at the same rate. I think my LG V60 could. Anyway, seems like one would have to see how to replace the existing pad, and see if something like this could be fitted in it's place. I suppose a 3D printed receiver could be used if someone designed and prototyped one. I'd be a customer.

I really enjoy this print. I was using the puck and double sided tape prior to getting this. Only real difference is that this hides a lot of the cable and looks cleaner.
Edit: also there’s a write up around here from someone who replaced the Qi completely with something that works better, seemed like a lot of work, both fitting and wiring

I use the charging pad with my S22 Ultra in a case with no issue. It’s not a fast charger by any stretch of the word, but it’ll keep my phone topped off while I’m using Google Maps Navigation and streaming Spotify.

Well, here is a simple qi upgrade. It works for me..
I defenitly don't charge my qi battery pack with the vehicle qi charger. The vehicle qi charger is always off. My Samsung qi battery pack charger work 100% better for charging my phone.

Qi charging generates heat. Heat kills lithium batteries. Physics is a real beatch

You guys got it all wrong, it’s not a phone charger, it’s a potpourri warming tray.

I removed those annoying stickers on the sun visor.
Mine charges very slowly, IF I'm at a complete stop. If I'm moving, the connection is intermittent, causing the screen to turn off and on every few seconds. It actually drains the battery faster.

It might work if I remove the phone case, but that seems like a rather inconvenient procedure for a convenience feature.

So it's basically a very expensive cubby hole. I honestly would have preferred an ashtray, so that I have a place to throw my pocket change.

I'll probably toss the button, and bury the wire if I ever need room for another button, but in the meantime, I just swapped it's position with the rear window switch so that I don't have to contort my hand behind the stick shift every time I open or close the rear window.

It just sucks, I have had an iPhone X and an iPhone 14 while I’ve had this truck and it hasn’t charged either very well.
