Qsand54 Says Howdy

Hey y’all!

Looking for custom lights for my 2020 Quicksand SR5, 5’ bed, drew me to this site. So many creative owners doing what they do best - pouring love into their Tacos!

I’m new to TacomaWorld, but not a Tacoma. I just sold my ‘07, crew cab. I put 197K on it. It was hard to let it go as I had hardly done anything to it except change oil, belts, brakes and tires. It was an awesome truck.

With my wife’s encouragement, I have owned my ‘20 for 3 weeks. First thing I did was put Katzkins in it (Black w/red seams) and they look terrific. It had a TRD shifter so I put red vent rings on A/C vent. Makes the seams on the leather pop. The first owner put 4-Runner rims on it, which I like, but the TPMS won’t locate the tires for the display. But at 180.00 per sensor I will just check my tires as I did in my ‘07.

Next, I put a Truxedo Deuce 2 tonneau on it. Researched this option for several weeks and like this hybrid bed cover.

My next upgrade will be grille lights by jrich44, which led me here to TW. I look forward to reading and learning from all you veteran, DIY Tacoma owners!
