I bought a 35 dollar quad from Amazon and have had a great time with it. Flys decent outdoors too. I lost my charger though so I havent flown in about a month :(

New frame built (welded), load tested to 90lbs with only 1/8" deflection, and getting wiring laid out. Should be flying this week! frame with batteries and drive train comes in around 32 lbs! we are running 8 gage from the battery to the cut of switches, and 12 gage from the switch to the ESCs. The switch acts as a header so to speak ( 5 in and 8 out).

The latest build. 163 grams without battery, 243 grams loaded with 3s.
Little over 1200 grams of max thrust...
4.9:1 thrust to weight ratio... its like a 4900 horsepower engine in a 1000 pound car.

Haha thanks! Yeah you look at this thing and think to yourself, "how is that pig gonna get off the ground?!!?!" We wanted to do something that hasn't realky been done before. Hopefully we can get our controller tuned and adjusted to fly stable and responsive.

NTSB judge dismissed trappys case... Commercial UAS are now "legal" (and I use the word loosely)

I haven't read the article/court documents thoroughly but doesn't that only apply to model aircraft?

without actual laws in place, i would imagine that they would have a hard time differentiating a "model aircraft" from a multirotor, from a legal standpoint.

A multirotor IS a model RC aircraft.
