Its kind of a catch 22 hobby, all build time and less cost, or more cost and less build time. And then you get into the big ones... and everything is expensive!

These things are pretty sweet, and getting cheaper. Ive always wanted an aircraft, but have always stuck to Nitro cars and rock crawlers. Being able to fly a gopro would be awesome, but mann I got too many hobbies! I dont understand how so many people on the planet are the "bored" type of people when there is so much genius technology to spend money on out there! TW world seems to share a lot of common hobbies/topics. Cheers to that

I'm sure I will eventually...especially the ones that are iPhone GPS guided drone copters? WHAT. But for now I need to finish/spend on:

#1 Steam powered usb cell phone charger.
#2 custom machined aluminum Tacoma grille.
#3 Aftermarket Tacoma sound system, and dualband ham radio install.
#4 Pneumatically raised ham radio bed-mount antenna mast.
#5 Kayak motorization and state registration.
    #6 Ar-15

I GOttSAA stop nowwwwwww.. for awhile...and follow through. Lol :frusty: Too many projects.

I got the idea from one I saw online somewhere online, and I kinda just wanted to do it to prove to myself that I could do it..then the idea grew into the idea of a mini steam power plant that would be built into a standard .50 caliber ammo box, with a temperature gauge, valves, output voltage gauge, usB 5V 1A terminals, so basically I would pipe the steam from a stove top pressure cooker to it and it would charge my device. So I started buying parts and the model turned into an engineering maze of "What now's" and wtf's so Now I need the correct pulleys, a belt, other parts to make it work. But it HAS to work....I will post some pics.

That's kind of a retro-modern idea, kind of steam punk if you will. Inyerested to see what happens there.
