Good I honestly didn't think you could have to many props. Yeah I got it from getFPV.com but didn't get any of the fpv set up yet. Going to get comfortable with flying it first. I was liking at making one from some parts that I had found from different websites, but given that I've never even seen one before in person if this type wanted to make sure I got everything with the first order. Although I found some decent parts and frames I might consider for a second one down the road. Plus my desire for the travel case really pushed me in the direction of the qav250. Couldn't find cases for just any other design that was quite as good.

It's a vicious cycle. I started with a small plane, a ready to fly champ from parkzone, got tired of being at the mercy of the wind, so I got a traxxas mini revo to bash around with.

Then an indoor plane, and a move that put me near a good indoor rc car track.

So I am saving up for a short course truck to race. In the mean time I just practice with my revo, and got a micro quad to play with in down time at the track.

Now I "need" a bigger one that can be flown outside easier. :-D

Got my eye on one from 3D robotics, think it's the x8. Should keep my amateur self busy fora while. :p

An X8 is a pretty big step up heh, they are not toys by any means. There is a thread on reddit showing people getting hurt and sometimes killed by them

Not with this one as far as I know... Their Mavrik model which is smaller comes in either quad or x8

There are some companies that have giant x8s swinging similar sized props... I believe Velodyne (Lidar) is one of them...
