    easy enough..... if using a secod, small battery, you don't even need to tie anything into the quad correct? just figure out how to securely mount everything?

    Exactly... Completely standalone. I am going to include a small lightweight 750mah battery for the video tx which will give you plenty of power.

    Roughly yes... Off the top of my head was thinking something like 325 for everything but I'm gonna look at it here when the kid goes to gymnastics later... :eek:

    btw, what case are you running on your gopro? that lense setup looks giant compared to the normal case...

    I am loving this thread and want a starter model,

    this is really neat,

    I hike in the mountains and would love to have a GoPro on a Quad for when your on say Johns Rock or Looking Glass then launch it and get the video, wow!

    I'd recommend getting a cheapy one first to get used to flying it and then proceed from there. The 1SQ even has a camera onboard for pics. ;)

    you can even get the one without the camera for a little under $100 too if you don't want that function.

    having a blast with mine, indoors and out.

    semi is key.......i'm still not sure how i broke one of the carbon arms:eek:

    good news is that the arm/motor assembly is the most expensive part at $15 :laugh:

    someone needs to build a mouse into a mini one and recreate Tom and Jerry (in a sick kind of way)

    Deadcat vs deadmouse... sounds like a good idea for a rave! Nntss nntss nntss

    Hobby king has their upgrade version of quad called the deadcat conversion. They even have a "defibrillator"for it!
