Looking for easy open bed storage totes to help organize jump cables, ropes, other odds and ends. Have topper on bed but want everything organized. Preferably waterproof

I have a dewalt toolbox. Waterproof and just tall enough to fit under the stock tonneau cover. I think it is this one:

DEWALT TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0, Extra Large Tool Box, 22 in., 123 lbs. Capacity (Part # DWST08400)

My go to is these plano ones. Cheap and strong enough to sit or stand on. They have multiple sizes and they are water/dustproof enough to be in an open bed.

I use two large Bauer toolboxes from Harbor Freight. Each one is water/dustproof. I keep my recovery rope and shackles in one and I put my air compressor and tools in the other when I head out. Fits snugly between the wheel wells and all of it is held in place with the ratchet bar. This is an older pic but I've since moved the ratchet bar to in front of the boxes so I can unlatch and still open them.

So overkill of this use. 60$ vs 300 does the same job.

Neither am I. Since were talking about "organization" maybe throwing everything in a large tub is considered organization to some but I like to be more purposeful. I went with 6 different sizes including the XL. I like the idea of mounting cleats on the roof rack, the back of the rear seat, as well as the bed. Not having to secure the boxes by strapping them down I also find appealing. Home depot had an internet special where each box purchased reduced the price of the next box.

Whatever the cheap coolers you can get from Walmart. I have couple with busted hinges, prefect for that.

Big fan of the Packout boxes. I keep the compressor and tools in one in the truck. Also have a few Plano trunks and recently picked up several of the Condition1 trunks when they were on sale. Those are made very similar to the Plano trunks but a little more sturdy and could could get one a little longer thank the biggest Plano. I use that one to keep camping stuff in.

Purchased Toyota Certified, with Vijay bumpers, additional lights, and Falken Wildpeaks on Fuel rims. Prev owner apparently painted the grill.
A little pricey, but nearly as much as the Pack outs, is the Rigid system from Home Depot. I got three of the rolling toolbox with telescopic handle which fit very nicely 3 across at the front of the bed. They are waterproof, durable, and I can reach the handles (with a pretty good stretch) to pull them back and retrieve items from inside. My bed is full of crap right now as I'm heading to a robotics competition this afternoon, I'll try to get a pic later.

I have a Milwaukee pack out box Velcrod down on my bed mat. Thing doesn’t move. If I have to take the box out for anything, usually end up replacing some of the Velcro. Not really worried about the residue from the Velcro on my bed mat.
