Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
Had 10 or 12 Toyota trucks and my 2016 Tacoma (now at 15,000 miles) has been one of the best (from my experiences).

The 2017 models should have less issues.

And their 'logic' is that the RL drives like a car.. well, some us want to drive trucks.

Two months into my 2017 TRD OR 6 speed manual....and zero issues after 2,800 miles. I am truly scared about hitting that 11,000 mile benchmark that has been identified by the TW expert who shall not be named as the point of complete breakdown and dissatisfaction.

It's pretty atrocious. Can't believe it took me 3 months to notice it, but it cannot be unseen. I'll have to see what the dealership can do about it

A simple Door Adjustment on my 15 is how I ended up with a 17, lol.

I would hope so... but in checking it out I don't see anything that would suggest so.

    Do tell...

My gas door sticks out, and doesn't seamlessly blend with the rest of the body creases when looking at it through the side-view mirror.... Toyota's quality control has gone to ass!!!!!

j/k it does stick out though...

I'm bringing mine in on Saturday to fix my door being out of alignment. Not as bad as yours though. Hopefully they can fix your issue.

Had a similar issue like that on my 1st gen a long time ago, just needed to loosen and retighten the door catch assembly to pull the door tighter to the cab when closed.

For me it was an easy fix as long as your doors are straight.

Just over 10 months and 13,500mi on my Sport DCSB MT - No issues, no leaks, what I can see good quality, and a blast to drive. Yes I recommend this truck and yes, I would buy again.

No he's upped it to 30k recently.
30k now is the magic number.
I anticipate soon it will be 50k.

My brother's sister's cousin's uncle's dad's best friend works at Toyota and he said that the new tacomas are actually garbage imported from china to destroy america in general and smitty99 in specific

don't argue with me these are science facts by tacoma world standards

I had the TSB for new front diff bearing, TSB for driver door seal (air leak), and I had to shove a towel between my center console and passenger seat to keep the seat from rattling.... oh and mines a 2015 2nd gen... every year has their issues. All GREAT trucks.
