Quality Power High Output Alternator?

    @Chuy thanks for the reply! I’ll have to use the search bar to look at some write-ups. I’m just a backyard mechanic girl and mainly self taught and reading on things. Done radiators, control arms, power steering stuff. Electrical requires more caution and research cuse i don’t want to short anything or set my truck on fire :rofl::bananadead:

    did you have to replace any wiring harness or stock wiring is good enough?

    Your going to need a wiring upgrade for the alternator cables and the battery grounds. Stock wiring is only like ~4awg if I recall.

    I just ordered a HO alternator from LCE and then I got a UPS shipping notification from Quality Power. It looks like that’s where LCE gets their alternators from and put a $20 markup. Wish I knew that I would’ve bought it directly from Quality Power :annoyed:
