Loyal Toyota owner since 1979. '79 Corolla, '84 Tercel 4WD Wagon, '88 Deluxe X-tra Cab Longbed Pickup, 2005 Tacoma Access Cab 4WD Pickup. I still have the '88 with 237,000+ miles on it; it is still in great condition and is mechanically sound. It runs great, uses very little oil between changes and still gets 24 mpg, the same as when it was new. I love this truck. We have gone a lot of places together and it is like a good friend - reliable and trustworthy. I haven't had to do any major engine work on it, ever. Regular oil changes (every 5,000 miles) new spark plugs every 40,000 miles and occasional valve clearance adjustments comprise the required maintenance. I drive the 2005 Tacoma during the winter because I live where it snows and sometimes need the 4WD.

Welcome aboard! Also been in Toyotas since '72. Been thru bunches as well and had a '82 truck for 500k that I just got rid of in 2009 when getting an 05 ac prerunner. We're gonna need some pics of the rides cuz well...that's just how it goes here, lol. Cool location too.........
