Guys at this point, its all out of our hands. If you'd like to talk about refunds, please PM KMD with your questions. As stated before, China is really messing this whole thing up.

 

Just FYI, not to dump on what's going on, but was tooling on the truck a bit today and found this:



This is a 20" bar from the first group buy. Let me be clear: It still functions fine and throws an awesome light pattern. I could just leave it alone and it'd work fine. But I'm anal about stuff like this.

Gonna have to rip it open, clean/dry, and re-seal it. Yes, I realize this'll void the warranty, but I'm not real concerned. I trust my work more than theirs

 

Yowza! Mine sits right inside my front bumper and has been just fine! I wipe bugs off it about once a week lol. Haven't noticed any moisture in it.

And Just for everyone else, I used my lights this weekend out in the desert....Holy shit they are bright. 2 6.5" fogs angled out at about a 30 degree angle from the front of the truck, and my 20" straight out...Whenever I wasn't following someone, these things put out a ton of light in front of me. My only gripe now is I need some amber light in front of me for chasing/following ...which means another light here soon

 

ip67, huh? i'm starting to wonder about this LED situation.

 

There's nothing fishy going on here, for real reals. You guys should know me by now lol, I'm one of the biggest shit talkers on LED vendors on TW lol. I wouldn't put my name behind Rob at KMD if I thought he was shady at all.

That being said, it is really shitty right now for us all, I'm really sorry it's taking this long. As said before, we're STILL waiting on China, as far as I know, and last I hear KMD was going to try to get some lights from another vendor (same manufacturer, same lights). I think that's still a last ditch effort though, as KMD would lose quite a bit of money in that deal. Obviously our first thought is to you guys, the customers (and me lol) so, all I can say is, thanks a bunch for being so patient, and if there any refund thoughts, please direct them towards KMD and keep it out of the thread.

Any info we get will be put into this thread immediately, have no doubt about that.

Oh and as for the lights, I did notice a few bolts only hand tight, I've learned...good practice is to just tighten all bolts before install. All the faceplate bolts an side bolts and mounting bolts...tighten that shit lol

 

I wouldn't.

The assembly seems of fine quality. Weather in NC can scale 40 or so degrees over the course of a day and 70 or so degrees between seasons. That'll loosen a lot of seal jobs.

In any event, this is easily fixable without even removing the light from the truck. If you want true security in this world you have to purchase quality products AND get handy. I ask a lot of things I own, so I buy nice, but I also learned how to fix.

Asked for a refund Friday August 2nd and still haven't recieved it

 

I just texted Rob to find out what's going on.

I'm getting tired of your crap dude. This guys was blowing up my inbox a while back threatening to file disputes and reports if he didn't have a tracking number, and used alot of derogatory language whilst doing so. I spoke with Rob about it and we agreed to just issue a refund to ColtsTRD. As soon as I responded with that information, CotsTRD immediately backpedaled and said he didn't want a refund and would wait for the lights.

I have endlessly told you guys what's going on here. I'm pretty sure you've all read that KMD is on at least 2 other forums, as well as running a full time fab company. Has anyone tried calling him yet? I bet that's a resounding No.

I've got ONE other PM from a current customer inquiring about refunds, and I directed him to contact KMD, who would be happy to issue it if push comes to shove. That was the last I've heard about that, other than random snarky remarks in my thread about refunds, to which I asked you guys to direct your comments to KMD.

It sickens me when shit comes down to this, when people start disputing charges because they are too scared to pick up a phone.

 

I/WE have all been more than patient dude. Frustrations should be expected...given it is out of KMDs hands (and I understand that) this is not our problem. Me and Rob have been communucating just fine...so why do you have to be such a dick!? I appologized for my behavior and yet you still drag it out....

 

Because clearly you are still antagonizing this whole thread and everything. We should have issued you your refund the first time you asked and be done with all of your BS. If you're communicating just fine, then why do you continue to say stuff in the thread? That's a contradictory statement, since your last post says you asked for a refund a week ago and haven't heard anything since.

 

Just got a reply back from KMD, he replied back to everyone this morning...

 

I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE BITCHING ASSHOLE!

AND CHRIS4X4 ASKED WHO ALL WAS STILL WAITING ETC....READ......

 

Refunds are being issued to all who have asked. Crisis averted for you guys.
