    Dude, you single yourself out.

I literally had 40+ PM's from you every day for almost a week straight. Asking me the same stupid questions over and over again, even after I'd already answered them. Even after I told you, 'I don't know, please ask KMD' you would still PM me with inane shit. You're getting your refund, so don't worry your pretty little head about this anymore. Your empty threats and vulgarity are no longer wanted or needed in my thread. Please leave.

It's not a crisis, I just didn't want to continue to have my money tied up for that long of a period of time... unless its a tax stamp from the ATF :D

Thank you to KMD for responding to my PMs.

And like you said before Volcom, you were at the top of the list in previous GB's with complaints, threats, etc etc. I'm certainly not putting KMD in the same group as Treklights whatsoever, but everyone's tempers can run high when waiting month after month for a product that doesn't show up- No matter who's to blame, the manufacturer or the distributor.

    This ^^^^^^

As far as Im concerned, after a few PM's regarding potential issues in a GB, then Im going to post to see how many were out money, and go from there. Lets keep the tempers down, and if refunds are being issued, then all should be cool.

Yep. I've been aware of what's going on with the lights and let everyone know the issues. A stated above, I was and still am probably the number one LED vendor 'complainer', if you will, and so far KMD is the only one who actually stepped up to my valid questions and concerns. When I started PMing him with stuff, he was completely transparent about EVERYTHING.

I was on the first group buy, and my 20" light bar was delayed almost a month a well. After speaking with a few friends that sell LEDs, they all agree that because of the large influx of orders from all these new start-up garage vendors, China is struggling ALOT to fill all these orders, along with metal supply issues. I have no idea how they are sending out orders...I'm guessing they are sending out smaller orders first as they are easier to fill, hence KMD'd and other large orders being severely delayed.

I just want to let you guys know how sorry I am for all this, again. It's been out of our hands since the order was placed, I know it's hard to sit around twiddling your thumbs while your money is on the line. Pretty sure everyone followed the Treklights scandal and know I was the first to pull out of that BS. The thing is with KMD, there was never any of the BS that went down with Trek. Trek kept making excuses and misled everyone about alot of things.

I put my name on the line here for KMD and I still support him 100%. So when people start talking about disputing charges and stuff without even attempting to contact the guy, other than a few PMs, that really sets me on edge. There are alot of other ways to contact him.

As far as I know, we're just missing the larger lights, correct? Everyone who ordered the small stuff received their lights already?

If you had my money for 4 months, and I had no product, I would be more pissed than ColtsTRD.
This leads me to think communication wasn't maintained.

You are the OP of this thread, and the one who orchestrated the group buy. That's why people use you as a contact. It should be a surprise. To add, in the first post, you use the word "we" quite often, once again, leading members to think you are affiliated with the company.

    And to address this comment:
If he's that busy, then a group Buy with limitations, for example 10 members only, or the like, should have been considered. If you cant handle the potential business, then you shouldn't have a group buy.

When can people expect to see their money back?

I just want to know where was the mod intervention in the Lightbar group buy where people ACTUALLY got ripped off?

KMD has been open and honest the whole way through. I was more than pleased with my purchase from the GB the first time around!

let it be known, i sent info for refund this morning. not the best way, but if it's the only way right now, then so be it.
KMD has been great to deal with on the previous GB, and so has Volcom. I mean no disrespect to either party, but this has been a learning experience for all of us.
    good luck to all.

Yeah, I'll just have my refund credited back to my Paypal account.

    Thanks KMD.

    Thanks man, someone remembers.

The torches really start lighting when money is involved, I get that. But honestly, there was no 'lack of communication, there were plenty of bored people waiting on lights. I have plenty of PMs from people that I answered promptly, even the annoying ones.

I am NOT affiliated with KMD, I think he's a cool guy, and is working his ass off, so I thought id do him a favor and run ANOTHER group buy for him, since the first one went off pretty well. It's no one fault that the manufacturer is f***ing up here, but everyone's ready to pull out torches.

As stated above, this is definitely a learning experience, I don't think I'll be running another one of these for a while, mainly because of the headache involved with so many people who can't read simple instructions.

Thanks to those who were patient through this whole ordeal. As for the rest, I'm glad you got your refunds and that's all being taken care of.

And if you haven't read about the Treklights scandal, do yourself a favor and use the search function up there in the upper right hand corner and just look for Trek lights. Then you'll see what a real LED bar scandal is.

Im confused, is everyone in the GB getting a refund? or just those who asked for one?

I'm still waiting on the 6" cat eyes, however im in no rush and dont mind waiting, they will eventually catch up and be able to fullfill the orders, no?
