Burn in my shock hoops, bump stops front and back, burn in my rear shock relocate, put legs, gussets, and plates on my sliders and mount, install crawlbox, and buy a rear bumper. Short list :)

Burnt in the passenger side yesterday and got it buttoned up. I even put some trim in there :p. Need to get some plastic or rubber for splash guards.
And man I need to practice my welding more. Especially in tight, cramped corners but I'm pretty sure I put enough hot metal down for it to hold :welder:

    Looks good!

Also looks like you got the steering sorted. That is a flat pitman arm!

Thanks! I ended up getting one 3/4" shorter than stock. We'll see how it does.

Surprised I never came across this thread. I wish I documented everything I did on mine. A lot of work and long days went into it, even if it doesn't look like it.

Yeah I wish I did too. Back when I had time and money.

Now I can’t remember half the stuff I built then remodified.

    Fun trucks for sure!

Got the other side burnt in today. Operation move the axle forward is now complete. Really happy with how it came out. Now onto the rear.

    Looks awesome Matt!

I got my spring bag front and rear mocked in until I get the drivetrain in. Grabbed a w56 5 speed for it the other day and mated that up to the dual cases with triple sticks I built a couple years ago. Pays to hoard parts I guess haha. On the rear i’m using Explorer leafs. They are shorter than the Chevys but still have a decent amount of flex without the axle wrap. From what I’m told they are a pretty decent compromise.

Stoked to see your rig, hopefully I can make a trip with you this summer!

Keep me in mind. I might be able to show for a Rubicon trip.

    Which way would you go?

Might be interesting go Tahoe to loon. Never done that.

You go RUF on the front? I got about 3" forward on the axle with that. Bastardized the leaf pack with front and rears, using rear main on top.

Rubicon is on my list if I can ever not fuck my truck up every year to be able to use it for more than King of the Hammers and TDS.

They were on the rear of my 4runner, outflexed the TG fronts by a long shot. I did add my old Icon 3 leaf progressive pack to it too though.

Either way is cool with me.

This year we're trailering it to loon then driving back to homewood. If I'm done in time.
