Check out the gotpropane.com site. They have it pretty dialed in. Everyone I'll talked to about it says it's pretty straightforward. I guess I'll find out :D

You ever think about doing EFI swap instead? All the dedicated trail buggies run propane around here, but swapping to EFI is fairly simple also.

Propane is nice because it doesn’t leak out of the tank when way off camber like gasoline does.

I had that issue when my tank was full and trying to wheel.

One downside to propane is it doesn’t have the same energy content (by volume) as gasoline so it makes a kind of enemic motor (22r) more so.

I have but I figured I'd take the lazy, mostly bolt up approach. I want to have this truck mostly done so I can move onto the taco.

Holley’s sniper EFI has my attention. I go from sea level to 5k elevation within an hour and it’s hard to tune for each aplicación beforhand.

Will cost about the same as the dual fuel kit too.

Today's mess. Pulled the alternator, power steering pump, fan clutch, water pump, engine mounts, and some other miscellaneous odds and ends. Last thing is to pull the intake manifold and I should be ready to swap.

Got my gasket pack yesterday. Looks to be good quality and the reviews were alright. I also ordered a new water pump (I broke the cast corner taking off the old one due to an incorrect picture in the Haynes), a clutch kit (figured why not while I have it torn apart), and a tube of Aisin FIPG for the oil pan. Last thing is to find a shop to resurface my flywheel and I'll be ready to go, I think...

Cool. They rebuilt my 3.0 too, spendy, but they did a good job.
