The Taco got broken into last night and my quarter window was smashed on the driver's side. I found a replacement at my local junk yard but I am unsure how those two plastic fasteners that attached the truck come off. Does anyone have any experience with this? Will I need to remove the side panel?

yes, the side panel comes off easily though once you remove the seat belts. Take your time and find each clip and pry out at that location or you can break the plastic

It's also funny that you bring this up I to had my Tacoma broken into the other night but they went in thru the rear sliding window
I'm just glad they didn't brake the glass they broke off the inside latch for it I don't think they got in tho I never noticed n e thing missing and then I tried to climb in thru the window I couldn't get my other shoulder thru
