    What type of off-roading do you do that you would want the OEM locker. Also what size tires do you want to run? Aftermarket lockers are easy to add when regearing. Hence the tire size question.

    I got everything I wanted with mine, except the Sunroof. They don't come with a Sunroof in an DCSB OR in Canada. How fucked up is that!

    Only the Off-road and Pro have the crawl control and atrac/MTS plus a locker plus the standard VSC Trac and alsd. The sport is the same as the SR and sr5. The SR and sr5 have the standard VSC Trac and alsd.

    Manual or AT? The AT on the sport has a little differential. You probably want the bigger differential right? Only the MT sport or both models of the Offroad come with the 8.75” diff

    That's only true if you dont crawl or go into sand/snow. It all depends on your lifestyle. If you're using the truck for mall use or fire roads the locker will never be used. For an adventure use, you'll eventually need a locker. It's always better to have it. You never know what situation you might be stuck in.

    You need a different dealer. I had dealers tell me the same thing. Finally I found a dealer that was willing to customize an allocation. Even though my truck wasn't possible according to the Toyota website it showed up two months later OR, premium package, roof, leather and all.

    OP just my two cents but a locker may help one day to get you out of a sticky situation. I say get the OR and at least have the locker in the event that it could help even once and maybe sacrifice the color.

    The locker might get you unstuck but a specific color won’t.

    You're not only losing the locker, but MTS which works to redirect power to the front (and rear if not locked) wheels when they slip. Essentially adding an electronic LSD to the front axle while in 4low with MTS activated. You just need to look at your options and decide how much you want or need those functions. Most people will never use them, but the people who will use them, typically wouldn't have it any other way.
