I do believe you will need and alignment but you dont need to upgrade wheels or tires unless you want to.

I was thinking the same thing. I have an 07 Dbl Cab and running 31". Was wanting to also get a 3" lift, but sure I'll need realignment. Anybody unsatisfied with their lift? I expect a little impact on my GPA and handling. Anybody comment on their experiences?

Anytime you mess with the suspension you will need a realignment. Even for one inch.

I did 5100s set at 1.75 but im going to be setting it at 2.5 with an AAL here soon. So far no issues.

If you want to lift, but do not want to "re-align" you could do a body lift, most shops in my town do 100$ for every inch. But body lifts are frowned upon from what ive heard.
