I have a 2014 DCSB pre-runner 2.7l. It is not pre-wired for fog lights. I am looking to add them. I would like to put the fog light relay in the factory fuse box in the engine bay. Not sure how to go about this. Has any one else done this on non pre-wired Taco? My fuse box cover does not list a slot for fog lights but there are empty slots. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the link floodedkiwi. I appreciate the help.

I have checked that kit out it doesn't come with a factory relay just an aftermarket one that would have to be mounted to the firewall.

Really would like to try and setup a relay in the factory fuse box.

Right, the only other thing I could suggest is to go to the home page and check out the left hand side; 'Discussion topics', under lighting and HID's.
There maybe something in there that may help.
I have 2013 wiring diagrams that I will look through tomorrow and see if there is anything there that might help...

I appreciate you taking a look floodedkiwi. I have searched the forum and looked through 50 fog light threads but haven't found anyone that added a relay to a non-prewired taco.

I am sure there is away to do it but not sure and where to start and how to go about it.

Might have to try and find a factory fog light wire harness from salvage yard and plug it into the factory fuse box, and then I think I would have to add some of the small copper Plates to one of the open slots in the fuse box add the relay. After that not sure how to proceed. I know I will need the switch for the cab and harness for that.

I will take a look under the hood of my truck tomorrow and take a pic. I have a 2013 and I think they are the same and will look at the wiring diagrams and let you know if I find anything useful.
Not the best at this stuff, but will see what I info I can get you.

I appreciate you willing to do that. Did your truck come with fog lights?

Yes, so I should be able to find the relay position and then see where it is in the wiring diagrams.

Thanks the wiring diagram will help. Just need to find a factory fog light wiring harness. So I can wire directly through the fuse box. In the owners manual it says slot 3 is for 15 amp fuse for font fog lights. There is not fuse there. Also the cover for fuse panel does not list the spot for the fog light relay. There is a open spot where it would go but that slot does not have the copper lining.
