    Hi all!
    I'm new here but hoping you can help me out. I am getting the following message on my app screen and was wondering if any of you have resolved this and how? "Unable to verify your Toyota account. Please log out and back in on Toyota app on your phone."

    Could have something to do with an update. I'm not sure what kind of phone you have but I randomly got a "sign in error" for a couple of different apps within the last week.

    Did you buy used?

    I had the same thing. I called the number. They said the online services were still registered to the previous owner. I had to email them proof of ownership. After they got it I was able to register my vin on the app.

    @RedWings44 - Ill run an app update on my phone and see if that helps, although im a little skeptical as I have my settings at auto update. Thank you for the suggestion.

    Same for me. Toyota app still works fine. I don't have the stupid Entune app. Whenever I start the truck now, I get the same message as OP. Just annoying, as it's a screen-press before even CarPlay will work, to get rid of the message. Everything works fine though. Tried completely logging out, resetting password, etc, on the iphone Toyota app, but it still does it. Started last week just like OP

    I have done everything I can think of short of deleting the app because I don’t think that will actually help.

    well, I also haven’t called Toyota because I can guarantee that’ll be a waste of 2 hours down a tech support wormhole.

    Mine was just acting up - wouldn't open. I seem to have gotten an update of some kind on my phone. Rebooted the phone and the Toyota App works fine, again.

    unfortunately, rebooting my phone did work either. I'm thinking a buggy app or software update was pushed. My next step is going to be to contact the dealership. then the toyota support number. :/ The app works, and connects, I just have to bypass the cannot connect error.

    Saw some posts on a facebook tacoma group about this happening. It seems like it's a growing issue.

    Friend/Toyota tech said the radio needs to be reset via battery disconnect for a bit. Haven't gotten to try it yet myself, but it's an option if anyone wants to give it a go and deal with possibly re-programming what they lose (stations, etc?)

    Has anyone completely deleted the app and reinstalled it and logged in and still gotten the error?

    Deleting the app worked for me, for a while. I haven't found a permanent fix.
