So on my cummins, I wired up two led pods in my ranch hand bumper, to my cargo lights and my backup lights. So they worked in reverse and with a touch of the cargo light switch. Is there any way of doing this on my ‘18?

Yes there is, but there is no guarantee that it won't cause other electrical issues. Try asking @mesojdm
Afaik he knows the truck wiring front and and back. Good luck

Better reverse led bulbs and nothing else is needed. I put Auxito leds in my '14 and my back up camera now has something to see. Huge difference, I was going to add separate lights but not anymore. If you want auxilary lights not in reverse that's different.

I needed them to see when backing down a steep unlit driveway where the stock bulbs just weren't up to it. They're only on for ~ 15 seconds max but I might be concerned if longer than a minute or two since that much light doesn't come without some heat generated.
