I'm looking at getting a truck cap for my Tacoma. I like having the bed open, but there are times I need it covered. Are caps easy to take on and off?

I have gone that route in the past and no matter how you do it, taking a cap on and off frequently is a pain in the ass. The mounts are easy enough as they just clamp the cap to the bed. 4 bolts to losen and they will come off. You will have to store the cap somewhere and it takes some care to align and seal it properly when putting it back on. Tonneau cover is a better option if you don't need the space a cap provides.
