Question about Brake Lines from the Group Buy

All,

Dropped my truck off this morning at the local mechanic shop around the corner from work, with the brake lines I bought from the group buy.

Got a call two hours later saying they needed to do "heavy modification" to get these to work and quoted me $550.

These are supposed to be direct replacements, are they not? Are they just trying to screw me? For $550 I think I'll tackle the task myself...

Anyone got a DIY on replacing these? How hard is the gig ( I've done all my own suspension / UCA's / Stereo work / Intake install etc ).

Here's a few pics of the lines and the fittings. Did I get the right set?
