question about coil overs,

So i recently installed 6112's on the seconds notch from the top or third from the bottom.

The ride is super bouncey feel everything, plus it gave me about 1 - 1.5" inches of more lift then the crappy r/c 3" spacer lift i had.

should i lower the notch to the second from the bottom or what gives?

 

So you are sitting at 4 - 4.5 inches of lift?

 

pretty much, even though all the paper work that came with this kit as well as the internet says on the 3rd notch from the bot wich i am at should give me around 2" of lift.

 

Problem solved. Lowered clip to lowest notch bouncing is gone. To much preload.
