Replacing everything worn, broken, and rusted.
Charlotte is even worse. Too many people came too fast. And most can't drive well and/or text all the time. From Northeast, Midwest, and deep south. Or perhaps worse, Atlanta. Places that took 10 mins to get to 3 years ago now take 30. And nowhere to park.

    10lbs of shit in a 5lb bag.

The assholes in the left lane who are going slow, are just that, assholes, most don’t follow the left lane law for the interstate.

The only place I have ever seen great lane disciple is on I-10 west of San Antonio and east of El Paso. I don’t get what the problem is with learning left lane rules. The left lane is like the bathroom. You go in, do your business, and you get out. You don’t stay in all day.

Unless the person is occupied on their phone. Then they're in there (the lane/the bathroom) forever.

At least in Colorado it’s legal to pass on the right. And the drivers here are so much less aggressive and mean than Boston’s and New York’s.

I feel like I never had trouble on the road unless I was on the interstate to Denver. I HATED driving to Denver.

Keep in mind that because someone moved to Colo with Fl plates does not make them Floridian. Most Floridians aren't.

I've been most everywhere in our state and the only place I've seen close to what you describe is the Broward / Dade area. And every interstate/toll has a fast lane, so not quite sure what you missed.

:amen: Lost tourists are the only ones who have either hit me or made me pucker a lot........

And grateful we are. Talk some more friends into staying away please.

I will say that even I can't imagine going to the 'tourist' destinations during 'tourist season'. And college spring break is a nightmare here.

Speaking of tourist season, I wonder what the bag limit will be this year? :transformer: :anonymous:

I will agree it's worse in Dade/Broward but I drove the state a few times in moving and helping others move and you can definitely feel the pace of the highway change as soon as you enter Florida. You have no idea how many locals (born and raised) I knew that didn't even know the left lane was the fast lane. Toll lanes and blocked off fast lanes had accidents all the time because people just cut into them over cones from a complete stand still.

If I slowed down for a red light and didn't run it I would get honked at. As soon as a light turned green I would get honked at. Never hated driving so much in my entire life.

West coast of Florida was actually my favorite. But it's hard to generalize a place that is so ridiculously big it might as well be 2-3 different states. And as you mentioned most Floridians aren't really Floridians just like most Coloradans aren't really Coloradans

I live in the springs and the drivers are fine. I might see 1 or 2 people driving like jerks but for the most part everyone is fine. I came from living in Northern VA and DC for the past 10 years which by far has the worst drivers in the country and rivals LA traffic. I found everyone here to be way more laid back and slower paced.

Just drive casual, if you think they are bad you are probably driving too aggressive.

Interesting observation. Wife and I moved here from the Baltimore area because we hated the east coast/northeast about 2 years ago. I think Colorado drivers are great with a few exceptions. I love that most people understand to get the hell out of the fast lane, especially in the mountains on 70.

The only thing that stuck out to me like a sore thumb when we first moved here was people run red lights like it is their job. However, we lived in Broomfield when we first moved here and now live in Denver and I don't see it that much anymore.

We've gone back to the east coast twice (regrettably) to visit my wife's family and instantly noticed how horrible the driving is there, the amount of honking, etc. I take CO drivers over most other states any day.

But you probably don’t need frame mounted steel sliders; tube steps should prevent dings whie being lighter, cheaper, and easier to install/uninstall.

Have you ever been in a Whole Foods parking lot in Boulder before a Phish concert and organic hummus is on sale 2 for 1? No?!! Then you have no idea what some organic hummus cracked out Prius driver can do to a cheap shitty pair of tube steps
