I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on this kit (if my shop can locate it) along with an Icon leaf pack. I'm hoping to get about 1.5 - 2" in the front and 2 - 2.5" in the rear. I want to recover the factory rake and load carrying I lost with the camper shell.

I'm reading that the Eibach Stage 2 is only a max of 1.5" in the rear. I thought the rear was all about the springs so if the Icons can give me 2" will that mean the Eibach won't fit? If so, what would be a good alternative in the same price range?

I believe it has to do with the rear shock travel. Either the shock will fully collapse before hitting the bump stop or the shock will limit the droop. I couldn’t find which it is. If it’s the former you could get taller bump stops. You could email eibach too.

Not sure if eibach is like bilstein.
Bilstein has a shock for 0 to 1.5, 1.5 to 3 and a shock for 3 to 5 inches on the rear.

I emailed them but couldn't get a straight answer. They just said that with the weight of my shell a 2" lift would be around 1.5" and therefore okay. I explained that I'm wanting to lift 2" WITH the weight, which seemed beyond their comprehension. I'm going to assume this means that more than 1.5" over stock in the rear is a no-go.

If Bilstein does have something for around 3" then I guess I'm back to Bilstein.

You ever get a straight answer on this? Looking at the stage 2 and I have already have the all pro 2.5" leafs. Wondering the same.

The specs you want to know are the extended and collapsed lengths of the rear shock. This concern is talked about alot in another Eibach thread, and this is what I gathered. Eibach rear shocks are 14.92" collapsed and 24.09" extended. Bilstein 5100's are 14.02" and 22.94". That being said, the eibach rears would be just as suitable (if not better) as the same application many use 5100's for (typically 1-2.5" rear lift).

I'm no pro, just going off of the research I did when lifting. I ended up with Eibach front, extended 5100 rears (I expected 2.75-3" rear lift). There's also a fine line of limiting your travel, and a longer shock isn't always the right answer. 3" rear lift, extended 5100's, and wheelers bump stops/no spacers was my ideal sweet spot for the most usable travel.
