I have: 2016 DCLB TRD Sport.

    Book says:
    687474703a2f2f6936332e74696e797069632e636f6d2f326a666d32302e6a7067.jpg

    Toyota Tacoma e_brochure says:

Projector-beam headights with turn Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and integrated fog lights [standard on SR5]
Projector-beam headlights with LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and integrated wide-angle fog lights [standard on TRD Sport & TRD Off-road]

So, if you have a base model SR5, "the book" calls for an H16
If you have a TRD Sport or OR, "the book" calls for an H11
(Thanks to old-timer for the info)

BUT, since I ordered H11 PIAA Yellow bulbs based on that info guess what...
My TRD Sport has H16! lol.

Can I still install the H11 without issues?
I want to make sure I won't burn anything lol. And if it's safe, it will save me the pain in the butt to have to return the item bought online.

Looks like the wattage is more than 2x that of a H16, which in turn means more current draw. However Toyota making two separate wire looms and speccing two separate fuse ratings for such looms would be not very cost effective. Personally I think you'll be ok. Worse case scenario you blow a fuse, then you will know.

I have them. They look cool but honestly I forget to even turn them on most of the time.
