    Hi,

Wondering which grade/trim/year comes with the front camera on 3rd gen? I purchased a OEM Tacoma pro grill and it has the camera cut out. My 2022 TRD Sport is on order and was just wondering if it would come with the front camera. It is equipped with the TRD Sport Premium package.

    Oh look, another mod....

You have to get the "Advanced Technology Package". That is the one that costs a lot, but also comes with the front camera, side cameras, crawl control, etc... I think it even included leather & heated seats?

Here's the official specs about it from Toyota:

Advanced Technology Package (Double Cab) includes: – Panoramic View Monitor (PVM)16 with camera, rear parking assist sonar,41 Blind Spot Monitor (BSM)44 ...

I guess because if the chip shortage, the Advance package isn't even offered anymore .

Yes it is. It is offered on Trim levels: TRD Sport & TRD OffRoad. Trim levels: Limited & TRD Pro come standard with the front facing camera.

Read over the ebrochure. Pages 16 and 17 list what options/packages are available. Now, the dealership that you went to may not have been able to get a specific package on the truck they were offering to sell you, but if you look elsewhere, you'll find the package/options that you want.

Hmm. Maybe it’s my south east region but it’s not offered in the build on Toyota.com

I have a 2021 with the Advanced Technology Package. According to the window sticker the package added "panoramic view monitor, power, color-keyed outside rear view mirrors with turn signal and BSM, and rear parking sonar (double cab only)". Not sure if the premium package includes the camera or if you still have to add the advanced tech package to get it. If it does have the front camera keep in mind that the bracket holding the camera on the sport grill may need to be modified to hold it on the pro grill, or I believe there is a company that sells a new bracket to fit (someone here knows who I'm sure).

Not true. It was included on the 2022 TRD Sport that I reserved. I would have settled for the regular Tech Package to get the LED Headlights, but I sense that the panoramic view is going to look sick!

Does anyone have a good idea on how to fill the front camera hole on a TRD Pro grille?
I bought an OEM TRD Pro grille for my ‘22 TRD Off Road (without advanced technology package). Now there is a hole where the camera would be, but I don’t want to install a camera. Just looking for ideas. Thanks!
